A Zen Essentials alternative for Chrome, Edge & Brave
Moved from Zen to a Chromium browser? Essentials brings Zen's Essentials workflow to Chrome, Edge, Brave, and more — a toolbar grid of your key sites in color-coded spaces. One-time $4.99.
What Zen's Essentials gave you
Zen (a Firefox-based browser) keeps an "Essentials" row of pinned sites shared across its Workspaces. Moving to a Chromium browser meant leaving that behind.
How Essentials brings it to Chrome
Essentials recreates the pinned-grid-plus-spaces workflow as an extension for Chromium browsers — a toolbar popup grid opened with Ctrl/⌘+Shift+E, color-coded spaces switched with Ctrl+1 – Ctrl+9.
| Zen | Essentials for Chrome |

FAQ
Does the Chrome edition run in Zen?
No — Zen is Firefox-based, so the Chrome build doesn't run in it. For Zen, use the Firefox edition, which installs in Zen directly.
I switched from Zen to Chrome, Brave, or Edge — will my workflow carry over?
Yes. Essentials recreates the pinned-grid and spaces workflow in any Chromium browser.
How does sync work?
Through your browser's own sync. We run no servers.
How much does it cost?
Free to try, then a one-time $4.99 to unlock. No subscription.
